Account Executive (SaaS)

Spectrum Search is partnered with a growth-stage AI technology company expanding its US commercial team. This opportunity offers the chance to become one of the first Account Executives in the region, helping shape the sales function while introducing an established AI-powered software platform to legal professionals across the US.

The company has built a proven software platform with an established customer base and is now investing in the next phase of its US growth. Joining at an early stage, you will play a key role in winning new customers, influencing go-to-market strategy and helping define the foundations of a high-performing sales organisation.

The role

As a Founding Account Executive, you will own the complete sales cycle, focusing on new business acquisition across the US legal market. You will build and manage your own pipeline, engage prospective customers through outbound activity, inbound enquiries and industry events, and work closely with senior leadership to refine sales processes and commercial strategy.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building from the ground up, thrives in an early-stage environment and is motivated by creating long-term commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound leads and networking events
• Sell an AI-powered legal technology platform to law firms across the US
• Manage opportunities across a range of deal sizes, including typical annual contract values of around $20K to $30K and larger strategic opportunities
• Build strong relationships with prospective customers and guide them through the buying process
• Partner with senior leadership to develop sales processes, territory planning and go-to-market strategy
• Contribute to the growth and development of the company's first US-based sales team

Essential requirements

• Proven success managing the full sales cycle within a B2B SaaS environment
• Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering high performance
• Strong outbound prospecting skills across cold calling, email and event-based lead generation
• Experience managing mid-market software sales opportunities with comparable contract values
• Ability to work effectively in an early-stage business where priorities evolve quickly
• Comfortable collaborating closely with senior leadership and contributing beyond day-to-day sales activity
