MSH is conducting a search on behalf of a growing, well-established manufacturing organization in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area.

This is a full-cycle Corporate Recruiter role supporting both production/blue-collar and corporate/white-collar hiring, with the opportunity to build a more strategic approach to recruiting and to help shape the organization's relationships with outside staffing and recruiting partners going forward.

Position Overview

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment activities for the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the selection of qualified candidates.

This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, build candidate pipelines, promote the employer brand, and ensure a positive candidate experience while supporting timely, compliant, and effective hiring decisions.

Essential Job Functions

Recruitment Strategy & Workforce PlanningPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and workforce priorities.

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for production, maintenance, technical, administrative, and support roles.

Create and maintain accurate job postings that reflect role requirements, company expectations, and employment opportunities.

Track hiring activity and provide regular updates on open positions, candidate pipelines, and recruiting progress.

Candidate Sourcing & ScreeningSource candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.

Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet position qualifications and business needs.

Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess experience, skills, availability, compensation expectations, and job fit.

Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Interview Coordination & Selection SupportCoordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.

Support structured interview processes by preparing interview materials, candidate summaries, and selection documentation.

Communicate timely updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Assist with reference checks, background check coordination, pre-employment requirements, and offer preparation as directed.

Candidate Experience & Employer BrandingRepresent the company professionally and positively to all applicants and prospective employees.

Promote career opportunities, company culture, benefits, and growth paths to candidates.

Participate in job fairs, community outreach, school partnerships, and recruiting events to strengthen talent pipelines.

Competencies

Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting practices and candidate sourcing methods.
Knowledge of employment laws, equal employment opportunity principles, and compliant hiring practices.
Excellent communication, interviewing, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and prioritize competing deadlines.
Ability to coordinate with third-party recruiters, staffing agencies, and external recruiting vendors while maintaining consistent hiring standards.
Sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, job boards, and social media recruiting tools.
Experience & Education2–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field preferred.
Experience recruiting in a manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, or high-volume environment preferred.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
