Available as a permanent or contract role.

We're hiring a sponsorship and exhibit specialist for the association world. If you can build packages buyers actually want, read prospects well, and turn interest into signed deals, this role is built around those skills.

You'd own sponsorship, exhibition, and advertising sales for a set of association clients. Consultative, not transactional. You match each client's goals to the right opportunities and write proposals that convert.

A word on us. Showcare is a small team helping associations run better events. The work is close, you'll know your clients by name, and you'll be backed by people who show up on the hard days. We hire for what you're good at, then give you room to get better at it.

But what will you be doing?

You'll run the full sponsorship cycle for your clients, from first outreach to signed contract.

Day to day, that means working your priority accounts and the leads marketing sends over, designing sponsorship and exhibit packages that fit each event, pricing them, and writing the proposals that close. You'll sit in on client planning to understand what each association is trying to grow, then bring them opportunities that match.

You'll use our tech and outreach tools to stay on top of a full pipeline. And you'll keep the client relationship warm long after the deal signs, because renewals are where this role compounds.

Here's what it looks like in practice.

Sales Planning and Execution

• Collaborate with the Showcare team and client to learn their industry, audience, and events, then tailor your tactics, packages, and proposals to fit.
• Stay informed on market trends and buyer needs to sharpen how you position and sell.
• Use AI and sales technology fluently to sharpen strategy and execution, synthesizing outputs into a clear point of view rather than relaying them.

Sales and Conversion

• Understand the outreach strategy well enough to build targeted sequences for your own priority accounts. Marketing leads prospecting and top-of-funnel lead generation.
• Run discovery calls, help sponsors and exhibitors find the right-fit opportunities, build and present proposals, generate quotes and contracts, and close on Showcare’s sales platform.
• Know the self-serve exhibitor platform well enough to point clients to it and field the occasional inbound.
• Grow and upsell existing Association business relationships (exhibitors, advertisers, sponsors)
• Develop and manage a full pipeline of business opportunities spanning multiple Association clients, ensuring accurate forecasting, clean CRM records and reporting.
• Treat conversion rate as a primary measure of success, prioritizing converting engaged leads over chasing lead volume.

Accounts and Renewals

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting sponsor account relationships through regular check-ins and updates.
• Ensure sponsors are connected to appropriate fulfillment team members for proper onboarding and execution of deliverables.
• Support Fulfillment Manager where necessary in conducting annual reviews of Sponsorship Fulfillment Reports and contract renewals, especially for high-profile sponsors.

Does this fit your profile?

• 3-5- years working in sponsorship, exhibits, or advertising, ideally on the association side and now moving to the sell side, or in a B2B role designing opportunities that meet client objectives.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and packaging sponsorship, exhibition, and advertising sales opportunities.
• Track record of growing sponsorship, exhibition, or advertising revenue or programs, on the association side or in sales.
• High fluency with sales and AI technology, including CRM platforms like HubSpot, AI tools like Claude, and sequencing and automation tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable reading a market and spotting where the opportunity is.
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
