What does a Project Manager do at WPP Production?

This Project Manager acts as a leader within the project management team, taking ownership of our most complex and critical projects. This role exists to provide expert oversight, ensuring that campaigns are not only delivered on time and on budget, but also to the highest standard of quality.

You are a key point of escalation and a mentor to other producers, driving best practices and strengthening client relationships through flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-channel projects, ensuring they meet the highest creative standards and are completed on time and within budget.
• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders, acting as a strategic partner to enhance client satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
• Drive proactive problem-solving by identifying potential project risks, recommending effective solutions, and establishing resourceful conclusions.
• Ensure rigorous financial management of all projects, including accurate cost tracking, reconciliation, and budget control.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior production or project management leadership role within an advertising agency or production environment.
• Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• A results-driven and proactive approach
• Highly organized with the ability to manage pressure and lead complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with modern project management methodologies and tools, with a keen interest in how AI can optimize project delivery and reporting.
