Senior Technical Project Manager – AI & Agile Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager in New York, NY to lead a high-impact enterprise transformation initiative for a leading global financial services organization.

In this role, you will drive the end-to-end replacement of a third-party event management platform with a custom-built, AI-enabled internal solution. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and engineering leaders to deliver a strategic technology transformation using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Duration - 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise software migration projects from planning through successful delivery.
• Manage Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Business, Operations, and Executive stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Drive adoption of project management best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Support AI-enabled software development initiatives and digital transformation efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
• Proven experience managing software implementation, system migration, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with hands-on delivery of complex technology programs.
• Experience replacing third-party/vendor platforms with custom-built solutions.
• Exposure to AI-enabled software development or AI transformation initiatives.
• Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent, Rain
• Focus, Swoogo, or Bizzabo is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Certification
• Six Sigma Certification
• Financial Services or other highly regulated industry experience
• Bachelor's degree required;
• Master's degree preferred
