Live Event Account Executive (Corporate Events) - Atlanta, Georgia

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading live events and AV production company that delivers corporate meetings, conferences, general sessions, trade shows, product launches, roadshows, and experiential activations for some of the most recognizable brands in the country.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Business Development Manager to their Atlanta team. This is a true hunter role for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors, and creating opportunities from scratch.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across corporate events, meetings, conferences, trade shows, and experiential programs. This individual will focus heavily on generating net-new revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's presence throughout the Southeast region.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with experience selling event production, AV services, experiential marketing, exhibit solutions, or related event services.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Develop relationships with corporate event planners, marketing leaders, meeting planners, procurement teams, and agency partners.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development, contract negotiation, and close.
• Identify opportunities within corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, roadshows, product launches, and experiential activations.
• Collaborate with production, creative, and operations teams to develop winning solutions for clients.
• Attend industry events, conferences, networking functions, and client meetings to build market awareness.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently exceed revenue targets.
• Track sales activity and forecasting through CRM systems.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging client needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development or sales experience within:
• Event production
• AV production
• Corporate events
• Experiential marketing
• Trade shows and exhibits
• Meeting and conference services
• Proven track record of generating net-new business and exceeding revenue goals.
• Strong network within the corporate events, meetings, or experiential industry preferred.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Experience selling complex service-based solutions is highly desirable.
