Your new role Act as a strategic HR partner, ensuring the HR function supports organisational objectives and contributes to overall business performance.
Lead and manage the HR function, ensuring the delivery of a professional, efficient and high-quality people service across the organisation.
Provide expert guidance and support to senior leadership and managers on all employee relations and people management matters.
Partner with operational teams to deliver HR support across multiple sites, ensuring a consistent approach to people practices and policies.
Monitor workforce planning requirements, including staffing levels, budgeted hours, recruitment forecasting and resource utilisation.
Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to identify and address current and future hiring needs.
Source, coordinate and deliver cost-effective learning and development initiatives, with a focus on building internal training capability where possible.
Ensure all training programmes are compliant with employment legislation, regulatory requirements and HR best practice.
Promote and maintain compliance with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, providing guidance to managers and employees as required.
Lead and support employee relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary matters, grievance procedures and workplace conflict resolution.
Analyse absence, attendance and workforce metrics, identifying trends and implementing initiatives to improve attendance, employee wellbeing and operational effectiveness.
Advise managers on employment legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring organisational compliance at all times.
Support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of HR systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient HR processes.
Represent the organisation at external employment relations forums, including WRC, Labour Court and other third-party proceedings as required.
Participate in cross-functional projects, organisational initiatives and working groups, providing HR expertise and contributing to continuous improvement across the business.
