Technical Recruiter

Randstad, the world’s leading partner for talent, is expanding our Digital Specialty team in Toronto. We are looking for an ambitious, high-performing Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for permanent IT and digital roles.

In this role, you won't be micro-managed or expected to just "take orders". You will operate as a true talent advisor and strategic partner to our clients and internal stakeholders. What You Get to Do

• Full-Desk Ownership: Drive end-to-end recruitment for permanent IT and digital positions.
• Manage High Requisition Volume: Successfully manage, prioritize, and execute 7 to 10 active requisitions concurrently with minimal supervision.
• Act as a Strategic Advisor: Partner directly with hiring managers and account leaders to shape recruitment strategies, set market expectations, and advocate for candidates.
• Targeted Sourcing: Proactively source, screen, and build pipelines for niche, hard-to-fill technical skill sets using creative sourcing strategies.
• Offer & Closing Management: Consult candidates through the entire interview lifecycle, managing compensation expectations, offer negotiations, and closings.
• Market Expertise: Stay ahead of IT industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent market conditions to guide client decision-making.

What You Need to Bring

• 3 to 5 years of technical recruitment experience, ideally coming from a boutique or agency staffing environment.
• Deep experience recruiting across various IT, tech, and digital skill sets.
• A high-ownership mentality—someone who is independent, accountable, and thrives on speed and delivery.
• Strong drive to maximize earnings through performance-based commission rather than relying solely on base pay.
• Proven track record of managing high requisition loads in a fast-paced setting without requiring daily hand-holding.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and candidate/client management skills.

Pay Rate: $ 50,000 - $ 70,000 Annually

The listed pay range includes base salary and, if the role is eligible, a reasonable estimate of expected variable commission pay potential. Note that commission varies based on performance, the successful and commission eligible candidate may earn amounts higher than this range.

The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including, as applicable, the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws.
