Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Manager

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the efficient running of daily store activities, from setting up displays to overseeing inventory and cash transactions.
• Enhance the performance of store associates through leadership, coaching, and development strategies geared towards maintaining superior customer service standards.
• Collaborate on sales initiatives to reach or outperform store objectives and propel business growth.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, adhere to visual merchandising expectations, and abide by safety measures.
• Respond to escalated customer concerns with decorum and a talent for resolving problems.
• Enhance store efficiency by overseeing associate scheduling, payroll tasks, and operational priorities.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Sales Manager

• Preferred candidates will possess prior experience in retail or supervisory roles, ideally in a fast-paced setting.
• Displaying adept leadership, interpersonal acumen, and communication competencies.
• Talent for managing numerous projects concurrently and adjusting to changing demands of the industry.
• Efficiency in managing point-of-sale technology and Microsoft Office tools.
• Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma, with further education in business or retail management viewed positively.
