As our Aeronautics & Defense activities continue to expand in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Project/Program Manager to oversee strategic engineering programs involving complex electronic products within highly regulated environments.

Your MissionYou will play a key role in driving multidisciplinary engineering programs from development through industrialization, ensuring successful delivery while balancing technical, operational and business objectives.

Working alongside engineering teams, manufacturing, supply chain and customers, you will coordinate every stage of the program lifecycle and contribute to the success of innovative aerospace solutions.

What You Will Do

• Lead the delivery of complex engineering programs involving international stakeholders.
• Build and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring milestones, budgets and quality objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary interface between technical teams, suppliers and customers.
• Monitor supplier performance and support manufacturing readiness activities.
• Drive decision-making through effective governance, performance indicators and risk assessments.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.
• Anticipate project challenges and implement corrective actions before they impact delivery.
• Promote collaboration across multicultural teams and encourage continuous improvement.
• Provide clear visibility to senior management through structured reporting and executive presentations.

Your BackgroundYou are an experienced Project or Program Manager with a proven track record of delivering technically demanding projects within complex industrial organizations.

You bring:

More than 10 years of experience in the aeronautics, defense or other highly regulated industries.

Previous exposure to the aerospace, defense or another safety-critical industry.

Strong knowledge of supplier coordination and industrial execution.

Experience overseeing the development of electronic equipment, embedded technologies or integrated systems.

Solid understanding of structured product development methodologies and lifecycle management.

Confidence interacting with executive stakeholders, engineering teams and customers.

Professional proficiency in English.

Technical ExpertiseThe ideal candidate has experience in several of the following areas:

• Systems engineering environments
• Electronic hardware development
• Embedded software or firmware
• Product qualification and verification
• Industrialization and production readiness
• Configuration and change management
• Program governance and KPI management
• Cost, schedule and risk control
• Appreciated Experience
• Additional experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered a strong advantage:

Aerospace certification standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.

Certified development environments (DAL A/B/C).

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and methodologies.

Long product lifecycle strategies, including sustainment and obsolescence management.

Multi-site or international industrial transfer programs.
