Brillio is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of large-scale digital transformation programs for Fortune 500 clients. This is a client-facing consulting role that requires strong technical expertise, delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive engineering teams toward successful business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines a solid technical foundation with proven experience leading complex software delivery programs in a consulting or IT services environment. This individual will partner with client executives, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring operational excellence, financial accountability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple enterprise technology programs from initiation through production deployment.
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Establish delivery governance, project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
- Ensure timely resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Client & Consulting Leadership
- Serve as the primary delivery partner for client stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, product owners, architects, and executive sponsors.
- Lead executive governance meetings, steering committees, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Provide consulting recommendations on delivery strategy, technology adoption, and execution models.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements and support business growth.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide oversight across modern technology platforms, including:
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Microservices & API Architecture
- Java, .NET, Python, Node.js
- React, Angular
- Kubernetes & DockerDevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
- Enterprise Integration
- AI/ML and Generative AI solutions (preferred)
- Data Engineering and Analytics platforms (preferred)
- While not expected to be hands-on, the Technical Delivery Manager should be capable of reviewing solution architecture, guiding technical decisions, evaluating engineering trade-offs, and removing technical delivery blockers.
- Program & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of Architects, Technical Leads, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts.
- Manage globally distributed onshore and offshore teams.
- Coach and mentor technical leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across engagements.
- Agile Delivery
- Lead multiple Agile/Scrum teams through planning, execution, release management, and continuous improvement.
- Track delivery metrics and ensure adherence to Agile best practices.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, quality assurance, and DevOps practices.
- Financial & Operational Management
- Own project financials, including revenue, margin, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Monitor project health, utilization, and delivery KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and quality standards.
- Risk & Quality Management
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Manage client escalations with urgency and professionalism.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through robust governance and review processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.12+ years of experience in software engineering, technology consulting, or IT services.5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology delivery programs.
- Mandatory consulting or IT services experience delivering client-facing engagements.
- Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
