Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize our production facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production schedules, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline processes, and enhance supply chain management to meet organizational goals.

Duties

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring alignment with production schedules and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain manufacturing management systems, including SAP, ERP, and other production planning tools such as MRP systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization strategies.
• Oversee supply chain analytics and management to ensure timely procurement of materials and efficient inventory control.
• Manage team leadership responsibilities by mentoring supervisors and operators, fostering cross-functional communication, and promoting a safety-first culture.
• Utilize Excel data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and develop actionable insights for process enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards, mechanical maintenance protocols, and safety regulations across the plant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, MRP, and production scheduling tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to plant operations and equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments including supply chain management, quality control, and operations teams.
