Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Software Engineer (AI Search Infrastructure).

Location: Singapore on site.

Our client is a global AI-Native leader in search infrastructure, they are backed by tier 1 VCs, used by leading AI native businesses and enterprises globally, and behind hundreds of thousands of developers building on top of it.

We're looking top tier software engineers as part of a high-leverage team that ships across the entire search and retrieval stack: crawling, parsing, ML systems performance, retrieval algorithms, and new product surfaces. Past output from this team includes shipping entirely new product lines from scratch, cutting ML inference latency multiple times over, and making core infrastructure several times faster.

You'll move between problem areas as the business needs it, with real end-to-end ownership from day one.

We're looking for strong distributed systems and coding fundamentals — comfort with Rust or C++ is a strong plus, and hands-on experience with low-latency, large-scale systems will set you apart. We're open on seniority, from strong engineers a couple years out of top CS programs through to more experienced hires, but this is a flat, high-ownership org — we need hands-on engineers, not people managers.

Backgrounds that tend to work well: engineers from top-tier AI/infra companies or ambitious AI-native startups, and quant researchers/quant developers with serious systems chops moving from trading into AI infra. We are looking for markers of distinction, evidence of real ownership, distinguished academic record in a technical field, a hard technical project you drove end-to-end, not just contributed to.
