The Payroll Data Reporting and Analysis Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll data, producing comprehensive reports, and conducting in-depth analysis to support payroll processes and inform decision-making.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in payroll software and reporting tools Data Management: Collect, verify, and maintain payroll data accurately and efficiently. Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Reporting: Generate regular payroll reports, including but not limited to payroll summaries, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.
Develop ad-hoc reports as needed to support departmental and organizational needs. Present findings to management and relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Analysis: Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance and Auditing: Assist in payroll audits, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations. Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment with organizational policies and practices. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement to streamline payroll operations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in payroll reporting and analysis. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, Centralized Scheduling Office and other departments to gather necessary data and address any payroll-related inquiries. Provide training and support to staff regarding payroll reporting tools and data interpretation.
