Treasury Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing global investment firm based in Los Angeles to identify an Interim Treasury Manager. This high-impact opportunity supports a treasury organization undergoing significant transformation driven by growth, acquisitions, and broader strategic initiatives.

The consultant will step into a highly visible role within a lean treasury team, providing hands-on support across key treasury projects while helping leadership create capacity for larger organizational and structural priorities.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a well-rounded Treasury Manager who excels in complex, fast-paced environments and can effectively balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day treasury operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core treasury activities by supporting cash positioning, liquidity oversight, banking coordination, and short-term investment administration.
• Contribute to foreign exchange activities and assist with banking and capital-related treasury programs across the organization.
• Work closely with treasury, investment operations, finance, and accounting teams to align corporate cash practices with broader business and fund-related needs.
• Drive treasury workstreams tied to acquisitions, including onboarding newly acquired entities into established banking frameworks, policies, and operating standards.
• Strengthen liquidity forecasting by creating and refining models that incorporate inputs from multiple business areas, systems, and cash flow assumptions.
• Analyze liquidity trends and key cash drivers to improve visibility into funding needs and support more accurate planning.
• Support treasury improvement efforts such as treasury management system enhancements, payment process modernization, and broader process optimization initiatives.
• Assist with treasury and operational planning for new business launches, special products, and strategic growth efforts.
• Monitor financial commitments across corporate activities, investment-related operations, and other developing business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of treasury experience, including work within a complex global organization.
• Strong background in corporate treasury, cash management, and global liquidity oversight.
• Demonstrated experience building or improving cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning models.
• Familiarity with treasury considerations related to mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion activities.
• Knowledge of banking products, treasury operations, foreign exchange, and short-term investment practices.
• Experience working with treasury management platforms such as TMS and related treasury transformation initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to consolidate data from multiple sources into actionable financial analysis.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools to support treasury insights and decision-making.
