We are seeking a high-energy, tech-forward storyteller to drive marketing execution and public relations for Gray Capital while orchestrating collaborative growth initiatives across our entire portfolio.

Role Overview

As the Manager of Marketing & Communications, your primary mission is to build visibility, generate B2B investment leads, and execute marketing strategies that accelerate the growth of Gray Capital’s real estate and technology advisory arms.

In this execution-focused individual contributor role, you will also serve as the main point of contact coordinating joint marketing efforts with established marketing teams at Graycor and BuiltWorlds. You will handle daily content creation and campaign execution, leveraging modern marketing technology and managing outside agencies for specialized creative or PR needs.

A Day in the Life Might Involve

• Ecosystem Event Coordination: Working in concert with the Graycor marketing team to coordinate and promote Gray Capital's participation in a high-profile event hosted directly on an active Graycor job site.
• Global Conference Planning: Strategizing and planning the Gray Capital Venture Team’s presentation and networking activation at one of BuiltWorlds’ nine premier conferences around the world.
• Thought Leadership Creation: Partnering with Gray Capital Advisors to research, write, and format an impactful white paper or investment case study, then designing the promotional assets to launch it across our website and social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Gray Capital Growth Marketing: Design and execute targeted B2B campaigns to drive deal flow, attract investors, and elevate Gray Capital’s real estate and tech investment activities.
• Portfolio Coordination: Function as the primary bridge to coordinate joint PR, shared messaging, and cross-promotional campaigns with the marketing teams at Graycor and BuiltWorlds.
• Content Creation & Thought Leadership: Manage Gray Capital's digital presence; draft compelling newsletters, create thought leadership content, and design clean visual assets to position our leadership as industry pioneers.
• PR & Media Logistics: Draft press releases, secure local and industry media placements for Gray Capital milestones, and coordinate award submissions across the portfolio.
• Vendor & Agency Management: Source, vet, and manage outside graphic designers, copywriters, or PR firms to scale your execution capabilities when extra support is needed.

Qualifications & Tool Stack

• CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: 5 to 8 years of full-time, progressive B2B marketing experience within a corporate environment. (Please note: Combined administrative/marketing hybrid roles or purely freelance social media/graphic design experience will not meet the requirements for this position).
• Industry Focus (A Major Plus): Prior experience working within Commercial Real Estate, AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), PropTech, or Construction Tech sectors.
• MarTech & CRM Proficiency: Practical experience working with HubSpot and Salesforce to manage email marketing campaigns, track leads, and monitor campaign performance.
• Design & Creative Skills: Proficient with Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) to quickly produce or polish high-quality marketing materials, presentations, and social graphics.
• AI & Workflow Efficiency: Familiarity with leveraging modern AI tools (like Claude or ChatGPT) to accelerate content drafting, brainstorm strategies, and optimize marketing workflows.
• Execution Focus: A "doer" mindset—someone who is highly organized and genuinely enjoys rolling up their sleeves to execute social media, design, and email strategies themselves.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

• Target Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (Commensurate with experience)
• Incentives: Eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus.
