Operations Manager

Our client, a growing global financial media and events company, is seeking a Fractional Manager of Operations to provide operational, administrative, and strategic support to the CEO and broader organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized operations professional who enjoys building processes, improving efficiency, and supporting a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Manager of Operations will play a key role in strengthening internal operations, managing business processes, and ensuring the company has the infrastructure needed to scale. This role reports directly to the CEO and offers the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO to support day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives
• Maintain and improve internal processes, policies, procedures, and documentation
• Monitor internal systems and tools to ensure functionality and resolve issues
• Support employee onboarding, including equipment coordination and first-day readiness
• Track employee training and professional development requirements
• Assist with annual benefits enrollment and cost analysis
• Review and approve employee expenses and company expenditures
• Coordinate invoice processing with external finance partners
• Monitor monthly expenses and revenue reporting
• Manage internal calendars and company communications
• Review payroll and support monthly sales commission processing
• Coordinate annual performance review cycles
• Manage supply and equipment requests
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Ideal Background5+ years of experience in operations, business operations, office management, or a similar role
• Experience supporting executives, founders, or leadership teams in a growing organization
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to identify inefficiencies, solve problems, and improve processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and prioritization abilities
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Experience with Rippling is a plus
• Experience in financial services, financial media, or a related industry is a plus
