Role Description

The Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations to support advanced manufacturing and product development. This role manages demand planning and supply management activities to ensure materials and components are available to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

The Supply Chain Manager monitors inventory levels, optimizes stock policies, and coordinates procurement activities with suppliers to maintain quality, cost, and delivery performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing supply chain data, identifying process improvements, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams.

The role also involves implementing best practices for compliance, supporting domestic manufacturing initiatives, and contributing to scalable, efficient supply chain processes as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry3+ years of experience in an electromechanical product manufacturing environment utilizing high volume production processes such as SMT and PCB assembly highly preferred
• Fluent in computer applications and relevant software including MS Office, ERP etc.
• Experience as both a project leader and individual contributor - ability to influence others while independently owning many aspects of a project
• Expert in negotiation tactics with previous experience negotiating contracts with vendors
