Role Description The Technical Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, responsible for driving sales of Repower’s commercial and industrial energy storage solutions. This role includes managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to delivering technical presentations, preparing proposals, and closing deals.

The Technical Sales Manager will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate technical specifications into clear customer value and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.

Day-to-day activities include maintaining key customer relationships, conducting site visits, responding to technical inquiries, coordinating product demonstrations, and gathering market feedback to inform sales strategies. The role also involves forecasting sales, reporting pipeline activity, and representing Repower at industry events and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience selling complex or industrial technology solutions.
• Proficiency in Account Management, including developing long-term customer relationships and managing key accounts.
• Ability to provide Technical Support, including explaining product specifications, system configurations, and integration options.
• Effective Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on responsiveness, problem solving, and client satisfaction.
• Background in energy storage, power systems, or related fields is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel to customer locations as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a technical sales pipeline.
