Technical Project Manager

We are working with a global and leading international business in the travel and mobility space. Headquartered in Europe with teams across four continents, the company is investing heavily in technology, and its Dubai office sits at the centre of that roadmap. They are now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them.

The opportunity

You will own the full project lifecycle across software development and business IT initiatives, from initiation through to deployment and adoption. Working alongside software developers, product owners, operational stakeholders and third-party suppliers, you will make sure projects land on time, on budget and with real business impact.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of software and technology projects
• Building and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations
• Managing scope, risks, dependencies and change requests, with clear reporting to senior leadership
• Facilitating Agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives
• Translating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables with architects, BAs and testers
• Supporting release planning, deployment activities and post-implementation reviews
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and driving successful user adoption of delivered solutions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager or Software Delivery Manager
• A track record of delivering software development projects using Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working directly with software engineering teams
• Confident managing budgets, timelines, risks and senior stakeholders
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-changing environment with globally distributed teams
• Bonus points for
• Experience in transportation, logistics, mobility, fleet or travel technology
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data platforms and cloud environments
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile
• PM or Scrum certification
