Power BI Developer

JOB PURPOSE

·

The main responsibility of the Power BI

Developer is to develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using

Power BI.

·

Mining data from business systems/processes,

then using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular

attention to trends and patterns for predictive analytics efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·

The developer needs to coordinate with

cross-functional teams to resolve reporting/tracking/trend-observation problems

via proper data analysis. The Analyst would create and generate analytical

reports in timely and accurate manner.

·

The Analyst is required to maintain regular

contact with operations’ teams to ensure the timely flow of the productivity

data.

·

He/She is responsible to develop MIS process

improvements for increased operational efficiency; and further maintain and

support such MIS activities.

Other responsibilities include

·

Liaise with internal and external clients to

fully understand datasets, and document detailed business requirements.

·

Source and analyze large datasets, draw valid

inferences, and present them to the concerned business units.

·

Provide staff with technical support for data

analysis and MIS related problems.

·

Prepare and review operational reports or

project progress reports.

·

Stay abreast with advances in Data analytics

technology and consult business units with most viable options for data management

and reporting.

·

Evaluate data processing and reporting

options/proposals to assess feasibility of implementation.

·

Formulate the system design for the development

of a database specific for maintaining the data pertaining to program.

• Write/develop business information databases

ensuring data, queries and reports can be captured, and maintained easily and

accurately. Collaborate with developers, team leaders, and management in

conceptualizing and developing these Business information databases.

·

Testing and implementation of these new or

modified databases.
