ADNOC Schools is currently seeking high performing SEN Classroom Assistant for August 2026 start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School - Sal Al Nakhl Campus, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of the students under the direction of the Principal/Vice Principal/Class Teacher.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom as directed; to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Assist class teachers with maintaining up to date student records.
• Support students with additional and specific needs such as feeding themselves, using the bathroom (KG).
• Work with other professionals where necessary.
• Lead small groups in specific activities as planned by the teacher
• Prepare and present displays of student work.
• Support class teachers with the preparation of resources i.e. photocopying.
• Undertake other administrative duties on occasion as directed by the Principal.
• Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality, attendance and conduct.
• Be proactive in matters relating to Health and Safety.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Undertake professional duties that may be reasonable assigned by the Principal / Vice Principal.

Requirements

• Passionate and caring educators
• Bachelors in Education or a bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a minimum of 2-year experience in the related field.
• A commitment to an extensive enrichment program
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• Respect for all members of your school community
• Experience with students for whom English is an additional language
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
• Preferred: Arabic and English bilingual speaker
