Internal Audit Manager

Our client, a reputable organization operating in the UAE, is seeking a highly qualified Internal Audit Manager to lead their internal audit function. This role will focus on evaluating and enhancing internal controls, risk management, and governance processes to ensure the organization's compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual audit plans based on comprehensive risk assessments.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with risk management teams to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.

Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management and audit committees.

Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Lead, mentor, and manage the internal audit team to achieve audit objectives.

Foster strong relationships with senior management, external auditors, and regulators.

Continuously improve audit methodologies and leverage technology to enhance audit efficiency.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA are highly desirable.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.

Sound knowledge of international audit standards and corporate governance.

Experience within the UAE or GCC markets is preferred.

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficient in audit management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
