About the Role

Star Gallery Mart is looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to create modern, intuitive, and conversion-focused digital experiences across our e-commerce website, mobile application, and internal business systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual design capabilities with user-centered thinking and understands how to transform business requirements, customer needs, and complex workflows into elegant, practical, and scalable interfaces.

You will work closely with our development and business teams to improve the complete digital customer journey—from product discovery and navigation to checkout and post-purchase experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Analyze and improve usability, accessibility, customer journeys, and conversion performance.
• Design effective e-commerce experiences focused on customer engagement and online sales.
• Design dashboards, admin panels, internal systems, and operational tools.
• Build and maintain reusable design systems, components, patterns, and UI libraries.
• Maintain a consistent design language across website, mobile app, and internal platforms.
• Create responsive experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Prepare detailed, developer-ready designs and specifications in Figma.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
• Review implemented interfaces and identify inconsistencies or improvements before release.
• Evaluate existing products and recommend UX improvements based on usability principles and customer behavior.
• Apply strong principles of typography, spacing, layout, visual hierarchy, color systems, and accessibility.
• Participate in product planning, feature discussions, brainstorming, and UX decision-making.
• Conduct competitor research, UX research, and user behavior analysis when required.
• Stay current with modern UI/UX trends, technologies, tools, and e-commerce best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality website and mobile application projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience designing e-commerce platforms or customer-facing digital products.
• Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Experience creating and maintaining reusable design systems and scalable UI components.
• Excellent understanding of typography, spacing, layout composition, visual hierarchy, and color systems.
• Strong ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Experience preparing developer handoff documentation and detailed design specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, pixel-accurate designs.
• Ability to manage multiple design requirements and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the following areas will be an advantage

• Designing multilingual English and Arabic digital experiences.
• E-commerce UX and conversion rate optimization.
• UX psychology and online customer behavior.
• Large-scale e-commerce websites and mobile applications.
• Working closely with frontend developers and product/business teams.
• Accessibility and inclusive design practices.

Design Tools

Figma – Required

Adobe XD or similar UI/UX tools are an advantage but not mandatory.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a designer who thinks beyond making interfaces visually attractive. You should understand how customers interact with digital products and how strong UX can improve usability, engagement, and sales.

You should be able to take ownership of a design from initial requirements and research through wireframing, prototyping, final UI design, and developer handoff.
