TAX / VAT Manager (Saudi National)

Our leading consumer electronics firm is looking for a highly skilled Tax / VAT Manager to oversee all tax matters in Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax compliance, while providing strategic tax guidance to support the company’s commercial operations and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance with VAT, Zakat, and Corporate Tax regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns, Zakat filings, and other tax declarations accurately and on time.
• Liaise with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) on audits, assessments, and inquiries.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely implementation within the organization.
• Provide tax advisory support to internal stakeholders on transactions, contracts, and business decisions.
• Conduct tax risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate potential risks.
• Manage tax audits and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax advisors.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related activities.
• Support ERP/system enhancements related to tax processes and reporting.
• Saudi National (mandatory). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in taxation, preferably in consumer electronics, retail, or FMCG industries.. In-depth knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Experience in handling tax audits and regulatory communications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
