Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Saudia

Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI), the premier technical division of Saudia Airlines, is seeking highly skilled Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. Based at our world-class MRO facility at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, you will play a critical role in ensuring the absolute airworthiness and safety of our rapidly modernizing fleet.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a valid and current GACA, FAA, or EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 License.
• You must possess active type ratings on modern commercial aircraft, specifically the Airbus A320neo family, A330, Boeing 777, or Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in line or base maintenance within a commercial airline environment is required.
• Professional & Technical Criteria: The role demands extreme technical precision and the ability to operate under intense time pressure during peak flight banks.
• You must have absolute fluency in technical English to interpret complex aviation manuals, troubleshoot defects efficiently, and strictly adhere to GACA compliance protocols.
• Excellent physical stamina is required to perform maintenance tasks on the active tarmac during severe summer weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute rapid line transit checks, perform deep airframe C-checks, troubleshoot and rectify complex avionics and mechanical defects, certify aircraft release to service, and ensure all maintenance activities are accurately documented in the airline's technical logs.
