Project Draftsman

Carry out project tasks that involve creating technical drawings of all Engineering projects in various SADAFCO locations and also support the Project Manager in supervising all the daily operational activities in the project locations.

The role is also responsible to support requirements from the Facilities and Security department for any technical drawings or layout simulation for any of the SADAFCO facilities and manufacturing sites.

Responsibility

Site Survey

Visit the project site to collect all required measurements/data for the proposed project.

Assemble the collected data to complete the architectural & structural designs for the Project Manager’s review.

Drawings

Draw rough draft and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specifi cation sheets and other available data.

AS BUILD Preparation

Create the layout and interior designs of the factory buildings / office arrangements / Machinery /equipment layout using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software so as to give the Management a simulated outcome of the project, keeping in mind all the requirements shared.

Site Supervision

Supervise, coordinate and inspect the work of technicians, fi tters / Masons in the construction /installation project sites.

Execution

Represent the Engineering team on construction/installation site, ensuring builders / Contractors arecompliant with design specifications.

Also advise the implementation team regarding design corrections which are aligned with the Project Manager and approved by the Architect.

Check & Compliance

Check dimensions of materials that are required to be used and assign the required numbers to the lists of materials.
