About the role

Manage and implement Network Revenue strategies to aid improvement in O&D flows and network performance in line with the commercial objective.

Define methodology and analysis of network flows to determine coverage requirements and specific opportunities for improvement within Revenue Management (i.e., Pricing and Inventory). Ensure Commercial division successfully runs its business with a resource having business knowledge of Network Revenue performance, evaluate region wise performances, map costs and opportunities and instigate revenue producing sales actions across trade, e-commerce and corporate network channels.

Project manage the scope as well as the delivery of several business cases (including the Revenue Budget and Forecast), and enforcement of established business governance. Guide and facilitate multidisciplinary teams, in order to complete timely and of high quality project deliverables.

Leading and delivering business initiatives related to data enablement, such as data product development for insights, data sharing and data pipeline, while ensuring proper governance. Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Accountabilities

Operational

• Drive revenue growth using analytics and insights
• Deliver network performance analysis and strategic recommendations
• Manage forecasting, budgeting, and dashboards (SQL/BIG query)
• Support customer personalization and campaign activation data enablement
• Manage stakeholder collaboration and reporting on deliverables of data for business use cases
• Act as product owner and take responsibility for building the product roadmap on quarterly basis.
• Work closely with the technical team to deliver data products and solutions
• Formulate analytical concepts that drive incremental revenue through maximizing the growth and wide ranging QR network.
• Provide analysis and recommendation on business development in conjunction with other teams within the wider commercial organization (inventory and pricing managers as well ecommerce, marketing and global sales managers).
• Deliver clear, concise and progressive network improvement analysis through data-driven insights to support actionable strategic directions, prioritization and communication.
• Closely monitor Key Performance Indicators and benchmark against key competitors in order to recommend proactive actions.
• Formulate design and development of scorecards, business performance dashboards, including Tableau dashboards and Senior Management reporting.
• Responsible to monitor & trigger recommendation on distribution strategy against evolving network growth. Responsible on performance evaluation and effectiveness of the sales tools — PLB, Corporates, Qbiz, MICE to actively engage Global and Region/Field sales for implementation.
• Monitor performance and recommend/implement changes as necessary. Deliver on-going analysis and data driven insights within commercial through a continuous review and evaluation of Network Revenue Performance.
• Implement ways to enhance sales intelligence and improve speed to market utilizing E-Smash, MIDT, BSP Air Connect, PLB system.
• Lead the team to monitor and drive improvement in Channel mix, segmentation, sales engagements, COS and add value to the business by creating awareness on revenue targets, building projections and monitoring revenue build-ups.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification

About you

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience

Essential

• Business Strategy, Business Intelligence, Management Consulting or related field Experience in a management role
• Experience in competitive, strategic business and/or financial assessment, trending and forecasting
• Knowledge of Amadeus (PNR) Booking data, customer data, loyalty and customer 360

Preferred

• Experience in a Network Strategy, Performance or Planning Environment
• Prior experience within the Airline/Travel industry background or related field

Job Specific Skills

Essential

• Command of English language
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of Origin and Destination concept within Revenue Management
• Proven and adequate knowledge of Analytic techniques and Business analysis concepts.
• Adequate knowledge of Business Planning and Strategy concepts and techniques
• Strong Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis skills
• Highly developed skills with Business Intelligence tools e.g. Power BI/SQL/BIG query
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced, dynamic environment to deadline Methodical, with excellent attention to detail
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
• Set team objectives and delivery priorities
• Support succession planning and team capability building
