Backend Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. This role requires strong programming expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize server-side logic for performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate applications with databases, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in live environments.
• Document processes and provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or C#).
• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
