Commercial Interior Designer & Client Relations Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile, highly presentable Commercial Interior Designer to join Taraf Design House in Doha. This dynamic role bridges creative design execution, client engagement, and digital storytelling.

You will lead commercial interior projects from initial client consultations to site handover, oversee project management and fit-out reviews, and act as a brand ambassador—bringing our design process and finished spaces to life through compelling social media content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Project Management

• Client Briefs & Meetings: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, conducting consultations, presenting design concepts, and managing reviews.
• Turnkey Project Management: Oversee project timelines, material selections, and fit-out execution to ensure strict alignment with Taraf’s high-end quality standards.
• On-Site Supervision: Coordinate directly with contractors, artisans, and MEP teams on site to review progress, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure design compliance.

2. Design & Technical Execution

• Commercial Design: Develop functional, luxury interior layouts, material schemes, and detailed CAD/3D packages tailored to commercial, hospitality, or corporate spaces.
• Material Curation: Source and showcase premium materials, finishes, lighting, and bespoke furniture during client workshops and design presentations.

3. Social Media Content

• Visual Storytelling: Partner with our media team to document and present design samples, material palettes, and live fit-out transformations through Instagram posts, reels, and stories.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Commercial Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in commercial interior design and project management .
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, Adobe Creative Cloud, and spatial planning tools.
• Client & Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a refined, professional demeanor.
• Language: Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is highly preferred.
