Byron Recruitment is seeking a caring, attentive, and experienced Infant Teacher to support the learning, development, and well-being of young children in a nurturing early years environment in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about infant care and early childhood development, and who can create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where children feel secure and supported.
The Infant Teacher will play a key role in building strong daily routines, encouraging developmental milestones, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe, warm, and engaging environment
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, sensory, and cognitive development
- Observe, monitor, and document each child s progress, routines, and developmental milestones
- Maintain consistent daily schedules, including feeding, sleeping, toileting, and play routines
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and set up with suitable resources for infant learning and exploration
- Support children s early communication, curiosity, and confidence through responsive interactions and play-based learning
- Build trusting and positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback
- Follow safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of each child
- Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities
- Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child s individual needs, background, and stage of development
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Previous experience working with infants or in an early years classroom
- Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate teaching and care practices
- Ability to create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, attentive, and compassionate approach to working with young children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
