Cyber Security Analyst

The Cyber Security Analyst protects Zain Kuwait’s information systems, customer data, and telecommunications infrastructure against cyber threats. The role involves monitoring security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents. Analysts work with IT, network, and compliance teams to strengthen security controls and ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Continuous threat monitoring and risk mitigation are essential aspects of the position.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts using SIEM and threat detection tools.

Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate response activities.

Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation measures.

Implement security policies, standards, and compliance requirements.

Analyze network traffic for suspicious or malicious activities.

Support identity and access management initiatives.

Conduct security awareness and phishing prevention activities.

Prepare security reports, audit documentation, and risk assessments.
