Head Of English Department

We are hiring Head of English Department Academic Year 2026/2027

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of English Department based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The role involves overseeing the English curriculum, managing a team of teachers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality English education. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum plans, observing and mentoring teachers, and ensuring adherence to educational standards.

The Head of English Department will also collaborate with school administration to align departmental goals with the institution’s objectives and participate in student performance evaluations and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Native speaker or IELTS 8.0+
• Leadership experience in international schools
• Proficiency in English Teaching and a strong background in English Literature
• Certified Qualified Teacher with relevant licensure or accreditation
• Experience in Curriculum Development and education planning
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Previous experience in a management or leadership role within an educational institution
• Commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment
