Senior Business Analyst

Quality Professionals (Q-Pros) is a leading software quality assurance and testing company, with a strong presence across the Middle East and GCC. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work with one of our clients in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business needs, project scope, and functional requirements.
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and prioritize business and system requirements.

Requirements

• Specifications (FRS), use cases, user stories, process flows, and workflow diagrams.
• Support project planning by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Monitor project progress through regular follow-ups with project teams, identify risks and issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions with business users.
• Support backlog management, sprint planning, and user story refinement within Agile environments.
• Analyze and improve business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and business process modeling.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to prepare business cases, reports, presentations, and process documentation.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise or government projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PSPO, PSM, or Agile certifications are preferred.
