The Second Analyst in Digital & Business Solutions is responsible for supporting and optimizing MCD s business applications, including the Clearing, Settlement, and Depository core system, as well as related support systems, automation and digital platforms such as mobile applications and websites.
The role focuses on analyzing business and functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring effective system configuration, integration, and performance. The Second Analyst collaborates closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver system enhancements, and support ongoing improvements aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
This position requires strong analytical and technical skills to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and efficient. The Second Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and supporting change initiatives, conducting testing and quality assurance, and ensuring that digital and business solutions continue to meet evolving business needs while adhering to governance, security, and compliance standards.

- Ensure compliance with established IT policies, standards, and procedures in all system support, analysis, and enhancement activities, while adhering to regulatory, security, and governance requirements.
- Support the documentation, review, and continuous improvement of system-related processes to enhance operational efficiency, control effectiveness, and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system configurations.
- Participate in the implementation, enhancement, testing, and deployment of business application changes in line with approved requirements.
- Perform system configuration, integration support, and data analysis to ensure applications meet operational and business needs.
- Ensure applications comply with internal IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements during development, enhancement, and support activities.
- Conduct functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring system changes meet quality standards before production deployment.
- Support change management processes, including documentation, impact analysis, version control, and release coordination.
- Maintain and update system documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configurations, and user guides.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, integrations, and configurations.
- Collaborate with business users, vendors, infrastructure, and information security teams to ensure seamless system operation and enhancement delivery.
- Support digital initiatives by contributing to automation efforts, workflow improvements, and process optimization activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Business Process Re-engineering, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Analyze and recommend automation opportunities using workflow automation, and AI-enabled intelligent automation technologies to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase operational productivity.
- Participate in process analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and support the MCD's digital transformation objectives.
- Provide end-user support and training where required to ensure effective system utilization and user satisfaction.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to business applications and digital solutions.
- Reports:
- Prepare incident reports and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) documentation for application issues and service disruptions, ensuring findings and corrective actions are properly recorded and followed through.
- Provide periodic status reports on system enhancements, change requests, testing activities, and ongoing support tasks, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and timelines.
- Generate application performance, availability, and service-level reports to support monitoring, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document and report on recurring issues, trends, and system improvement recommendations to support proactive problem management.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in supporting, analyzing, and enhancing business applications, digital platforms, or enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with digital channels (mobile application, website, and customer portals), application integration platforms and intelligent automation technologies.
- Basic understanding of cloud-based applications, API-driven architectures, and system integrations with internal and external services.
- Knowledge of IT service management, change control, and incident management practices;
- ITIL certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
