About the Internship
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Risk Intern to join our Risk Management team for a 6-month internship. This opportunity is designed for graduates who are interested in developing a career in risk management, investment, financial services, or corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Risk Management team in identifying, assessing, and monitoring key organizational risks.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of risk registers and risk assessment documentation.
- Assist in monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and preparing periodic risk reports.
- Support the collection, analysis, and validation of risk-related data.
- Assist in preparing risk dashboards, presentations, and management reports.
- Support risk assessments for business activities, projects, and investment-related activities.
- Assist with monitoring risk mitigation actions and following up with relevant departments.
- Conduct research on market, financial, operational, and industry risks.
- Support scenario analysis, risk assessments, and basic stress-testing exercises where applicable.
- Assist in reviewing internal policies, procedures, and controls from a risk perspective.
- Support the Risk team in preparing materials for management and relevant committees.
- Maintain accurate and organized risk documentation and records.
- Perform other risk-related assignments and projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in Risk Management, Investment, Financial Services, or Capital Markets.
- Relevant coursework, projects, certifications, or academic experience in risk or finance will be an advantage.
Required Skills

- Good understanding of basic financial and business concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) concepts.
- Basic understanding of financial, market, credit, liquidity, or operational risk.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and risk registers.
- Exposure to data analysis or visualization tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial markets or investment products is an advantage.
