Logistics Executive - Job Description

A Logistics Executive Full Time manages the movement, storage, and delivery of goods efficiently and cost-effectively. They act as the link between suppliers, warehouses, transport teams, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Coordination

Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments

Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams

Inventory Management

Track stock levels and ensure accuracy

Prevent overstocking or stockouts

Transportation & Distribution

Arrange shipments (land, sea, air)

Optimize delivery routes and schedules

Documentation & Compliance

Handle shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, customs papers)

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations

Cost Control

Monitor logistics expenses

Negotiate with vendors and freight providers

Problem Solving

Handle delays, damages, or lost shipments

Ensure timely delivery to customers

Reporting

Maintain logistics reports and performance metrics.
