The Knowledge Mandate

Based in the KOM 1 building at Knowledge Oasis Muscat, Academia do Ecommerce is seeking an E-learning Platforms Architect to design the digital foundation of our educational mission. This is a role for a technical visionary who understands that effective learning requires a seamless, intuitive digital environment.

You will be responsible for the architecture that delivers high-impact e-commerce training to thousands of students, ensuring that our platform in Muscat remains at the global forefront of EdTech.

EdTech DNA & Technical Focus

• LMS Ecosystem Governance: Lead the design, deployment, and customization of Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, or bespoke LMS frameworks), ensuring 100% platform uptime and responsiveness.
• Scalable Learning Paths: Architect automated enrollment and progression workflows that adapt to individual student performance, creating a personalized and frictionless educational journey.
• Virtual Classroom Integration: Oversee the technical synchronization of live streaming, interactive assessments, and collaborative tools within the KOM 1 digital infrastructure.
• Analytics for Education: Implement robust data tracking systems to monitor student engagement and success rates, providing the academic board with actionable insights for curriculum optimization.

Professional Profile

• Career Foundation: 7+ years of experience in systems architecture or platform engineering, with at least 3 years focused specifically on EdTech or large-scale e-learning environments.
• Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in cloud-native infrastructure, API integration, and database management; expert knowledge of SCORM/xAPI standards.
• Language Standards: Advanced C2-level professional English is required for technical documentation and collaboration with international subject matter experts.
• Asynchronous Education: Expert-level proficiency in using Loom to record platform walkthroughs, technical onboarding for instructors, and "feature-update" briefings.
