Role Description The Heavy Truck Driver (3 Axle Tippers) is a full-time, on-site role based in Muscat. The driver is responsible for operating 3-axle tipper trucks to transport sand, gravel, rocks, construction debris, and other bulk materials between quarries, construction sites, and disposal areas.

Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring vehicle performance, loading and unloading materials safely, and using tipping mechanisms according to site requirements. The driver must follow designated routes, comply with traffic and site safety regulations, maintain accurate trip logs, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

The role also involves coordinating with site staff, adhering to project timelines, and keeping the truck clean and in good working order.

Qualifications

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license appropriate for 3-axle tippers in Oman, with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating heavy trucks or tippers, including safe maneuvering, reversing, and tipping in busy work sites.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, transport regulations, and basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, read basic trip documentation, and maintain accurate logs and delivery records.
• Commitment to safety, including use of PPE, adherence to site rules, and careful driving in high-risk areas.
• Physical ability to handle long hours of driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and working in outdoor conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Arabic to coordinate with supervisors, site teams, and other drivers.
• Previous experience in construction, quarry, or logistics environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Muscat routes and major industrial areas is beneficial.
