Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role

The role owns the end-to-end development of native mobile applications on iOS and Android, delivering performant, highly responsive user experiences used by millions of customers daily.

The engineering team works closely with product managers and designers to build robust offline-first capabilities, smooth animations, and scalable client-side architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain native mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate wireframes and user stories into fluid, accessible UI components
• Optimize application performance, reduce memory overhead, and minimize battery consumption across a diverse range of devices
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and local database caching layers using CoreData, Room, or Realm
• Design and execute automated UI and unit test suites to maintain high code coverage and prevent regressions
• Manage app store release pipelines, continuous integration workflows via Bitrise or GitHub Actions, and crash reporting tools

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on native iOS and/or Android development
• Demonstrated expertise in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose with at least two production apps shipped to the App Store or Google Play
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns including MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture, along with reactive programming concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing frameworks, and performance profiling tools such as Xcode Instruments or Android Profiler
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Cross-platform experience with React Native or Flutter, familiarity with GraphQL, and contributions to open-source mobile libraries
