This firm is known for helping ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, business owners, and institutions navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity.

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a strategic advisory role with some of the firm’s most sophisticated clients. Reporting to the Director of Wealth Strategy, you’ll collaborate with advisors, attorneys, accountants, and other trusted professionals to design innovative estate, tax, and wealth transfer strategies while helping shape the firm’s thought leadership and long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with advisors to develop customized estate, tax, business succession, and wealth transfer strategies for UHNW clients.
• Review estate plans and identify opportunities to enhance wealth preservation across generations.
• Meet directly with clients and their families to provide strategic guidance on estate planning, transfer taxes, philanthropy, business succession, asset protection, and family wealth planning.
• Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, appraisers, and other trusted advisors to develop and implement comprehensive planning solutions.
• Support estate administration and post-mortem planning while helping families navigate wealth transitions.
• Work alongside clients’ accountants on gift tax reporting and exemption tracking.
• Develop planning strategies for special needs beneficiaries while preserving government benefit eligibility.
• Proactively identify planning opportunities driven by changes in clients’ circumstances or tax law.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and prepare timely client alerts and educational content.
• Produce thought leadership through articles, presentations, webinars, podcasts, and other educational resources.
• Represent the firm through industry speaking engagements and cultivate relationships with centers of influence.
• Partner with the Director of Wealth Strategy to enhance client service offerings and support continued business growth.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on estate, tax, and wealth transfer planning within a law firm or wealth management environment.
• J.D. required; LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
• Deep expertise reviewing, interpreting, and designing sophisticated estate planning strategies and documents.
• Experience advising clients within a wealth management firm is a plus.
• Expertise in philanthropy, charitable planning, or business succession planning is highly valued.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex planning concepts.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients, advisors, and external professionals.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
