Investment Professional, Opportunistic Credit Fund

Our client is a multi-billion-dollar fund that invests in opportunistic and complex/flexible solutions for companies involved with commodities and raw materials globally. The team has a flat structure and a highly entrepreneurial culture which offers every member the chance to originate, analyze and recommend investments across the capital stack.

The Investor will design complex strategies, participate in credit analysis, operational issues, legal considerations and all other aspects of transactions, and play a key role in value creation. The Investor should have expertise in restructuring, deal structuring, or capital solutions and a keen understanding and comfort with risk/ reward considerations.

Commodities experience is NOT necessary as long as the Investor has an intellectual interest in the sector. The Investor must have buyside experience and an understanding of game theory and investment strategy. The strongest candidates currently have an Associate, VP, Principal or Director title or equivalent (4-10 years) and have a commercial approach to assessing risk/reward. Base salary: $150,000-250,000 + bonus.
