About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and often high-profile matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, and support disputes. Associates are given meaningful responsibility and client exposure early on.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of matrimonial and family law matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and agreements (including prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements)
• Manage discovery and prepare financial analyses
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court and participate in hearings and conferences
• Maintain direct client contact and manage sensitive matters with discretion

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted and in good standing in New York2-6+ years of family law/matrimonial experience
