The Kew-Forest School, a PS-12 co-educational day school founded in 1918 in Forest Hills, NY, is seeking an experienced Middle & Upper School English teacher with a strong background in English education. The Middle & Upper School English teacher will be prepared to teach any combination of Middle & Upper School English courses, including electives such as Creative Writing. Kew-Forest’s Middle & Upper School encompasses Grades 6-12, and our faculty demonstrates a deep understanding of student and curricular development across these grade levels.
The ideal candidate for this position will be energetic, creative, imaginative, and thoughtful in their approach to curriculum and pedagogy, and play a pivotal role in revamping our Middle School English program to align with the IB MYP framework, as we enter a dynamic era of Kew-Forest 2.0.
