Immediate Hiring | Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support regulatory compliance, nursing surveillance, and quality assurance initiatives within a New York State healthcare program.
Location: Church St., New York, NY 10007
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Up to 37.5 Hours/Week)
Track and evaluate agency-submitted Plans of Correction (POCs) for compliance
Conduct off-site post-survey revisits and complaint investigations
Review complaint intakes and determine appropriate triage levels
Prepare investigation reports, correspondence, and documentation
Review facility policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
Participate in license amendments, ownership changes, and agency reviews
Assist with enforcement actions, including reviewing Statements of Deficiencies and providing hearing support when required
Develop reports using applicable computer systems and participate in special projects
Collaborate with regional offices and healthcare providers to promote quality improvement
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License and current registration required
Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and complex data entry systems
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
Experience in nursing surveillance, utilization review, or quality assurance
Knowledge of New York State regulations governing home care and assisted living facilities
Experience with SharePoint, the Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) system, and regulatory compliance processes
Strong writing, editing, and investigative skills
