Server / Bartender - High Volume

Live Axe & Soho Live are Manhattan's premier activity and entertainment venue, featuring axe throwing upstairs and live music downstairs. Located between SoHo and Tribeca, our elevated concept combines unforgettable experiences with a full service kitchen, craft cocktails, and a curated selection of local beer.

We are a high-volume hospitality venue, creating significant opportunities to earn great tips while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

We are seeking a hospitality professional who can seamlessly move between host / front desk operations, food and beverage service, and bartending capability. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with guests throughout their entire experience and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality.

Our ideal candidate is warm, outgoing, and confident in a high-energy environment. While the Live Axe concept has a Viking-inspired edge, it's important to us that every guest feels safe, welcomed, supported, and encouraged from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in guests
• Managing reservations and seating
• Explaining venue activities, offerings, and policies
• Providing attentive food and beverage service
• Preparing beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Supporting private events and large group experiences
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-focused environment
• Working collaboratively with fellow team members and management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality, restaurant, bar, or entertainment venue experience
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-player mentality with a positive attitude
• Experience with food and beverage service preferred
• Knowledge of cocktails, craft beer, and wine is a plus
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
