Professional Land Surveyor

A fast-growing surveying and scanning firm in its fourth year is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor in Brooklyn, NY! This is a high-level leadership opportunity for a licensed surveyor to build and oversee a reliable surveying operation, lead dedicated crews, and help shape procedures for a growing team handling primarily topographic survey work across New York and occasionally NJ and CT.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor position include:

• Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
• Experience supervising field crews and providing professional oversight for survey-related work.
• Ability to help establish proper surveying procedures, workflow standards, and quality expectations.
• Willingness to be more involved in the field during the first few months before transitioning into a more supervisory, coordination, and review-focused role.
• Experience reviewing field data, project information, and final survey deliverables for accuracy and professional standards.
• Ability to coordinate between field crews, office staff, CAD/drafting teams, and backend support teams.
• Experience with topographic surveys, Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Must have access to a car for office and site visits as needed, with work based in Brooklyn and Rockland County, NY.

Salary: $120,000 - $200,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
