Role: Senior Internal Auditor (Audit Innovation & Process Transformation)

Location: SFO, CA/ Sunnyvale, CA- Hybrid

Contract duration: 6 months with high possibility of extension.

Hours/schedule for the position: 30-40 hours per week based on workload Flexible time zones required (working with different time zones and will need to work early or later based on need)

Internal Professional Practice

Operations and Capability Building: Optimize departmental workflows, deploy audit tools, and deliver targeted training programs to enhance overall team efficiency and capability.

Product & Innovation Management : Develop the governance, processes, and product lifecycle to manage Internal Audit's innovation and automation portfolio. This includes defining product requirements, prioritization frameworks, and standardized processes for partnering with Engineering through development, testing, launch, maintenance, and adoption of auditor-facing tools.

Required Skills

Experience: 5+ years of internal audit, operational risk, consulting, or related experience, including supporting operational, technology, or data-driven audits in large, complex, global organizations.

Support internal audit professional practice team on some special projects focused on innovation and process transformation and change management systems

Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong risk/controls assessment, process documentation capabilities, and proficiency in data analytics tools like SQL or Tableau.

Education: A Bachelor's degree.

Desired Skills

Industry Experience: Prior experience working within technology or platform-based businesses.

Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP.

Emerging Tech Familiarity: Understanding of governance, controls, and guardrails for AI-enabled solutions and agentic AI platforms.
