Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of consolidating the financial operations of our bakeries under one parent company. This is a fully hands-on, execution-focused role requiring a self-starter who can manage day-to-day accounting functions independently from day one.

Please Note: This is a "hit-the-ground-running" position. We are looking for an experienced professional who already possesses the technical expertise to clean up, standardize, and manage our systems

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in merging the financial records of multiple bakeries into the parent entity
• Clean up and standardize chart of accounts, cost categories, and bookkeeping practices
• Implement or improve inventory accounting, COGS tracking, and production costing
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements across the group
• Track performance metrics for each bakery location
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and manage multi-entity consolidations
• Help manage or streamline payroll, AP/AR, and sales reporting systems
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for the group

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a multi-location or manufacturing setting
• Experience in wholesale food, bakeries, or small manufacturing is a strong plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience consolidating multiple entities or merging accounting systems
• Working knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and payroll systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• CPA or working toward certification is a plus, but not required
