The Need to Knows

• Title: Senior Associate or Partner (portable business not required)
• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Schedule: Hybrid or Remote
• Salary: $205,000-$340,000
• Billable Requirement: 1,750 Hours Annually for Partner Candidates; 1850 Hours Annually for Associates
• Merit-based bonuses and full benefits

The Need to Haves

• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school and strong research & writing skills.
• 7+ years of experience in public law and municipal representation, advising cities, counties, special districts, and other public agencies throughout California. Attorneys with a public law litigation background are also encouraged to apply.

Job Duties

• Draft and review agreements, including public agency and municipal contracts
• Research and analyze issues arising under the Political Reform Act, FPPC Regulations, the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and similar ethics laws
• Support attorneys on transactional and advisory matters for public agency clients
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
• Analyze land use, zoning, Subdivision Map Act, and CEQA issues
• Advise on public contracting, procurement, and regulatory compliance
• Communicate with clients, public officials, and colleagues
